I'm a relatively new parent (daughter is 2.5 years old) so maybe I'm naive. And I think consequences are important. But there are so many other choices available to you as a parent as opposed to physically hurting your child.
Peterson should be tossed from the league. I just dearly hope if that happens (which it won't) that the CFL doesn't scoop in and give him a job. If it did - I'm done.

Be clear there will be times when you feel like hitting your child or screaming at your child, but hopefully you won't.
That is what makes you an adult.
