Lord I just can't imagine what would provoke me to hit my daughter - even a spank. I know parents lose their temper and lose control - but I can't imagine laying a hand on her, or how that would help her in any way, shape or form.
I'm a relatively new parent (daughter is 2.5 years old) so maybe I'm naive. And I think consequences are important. But there are so many other choices available to you as a parent as opposed to physically hurting your child.
Peterson should be tossed from the league. I just dearly hope if that happens (which it won't) that the CFL doesn't scoop in and give him a job. If it did - I'm done.
