Corrado said, "I saw an opportunity to make a hit on one of their skill players." What makes you think that his intent was to hurt him. I think it is at least as likely—perhaps moreso—that he missed his check and carelessly reacted without thinking about what he was doing. you are suggesting a level of premeditation that I have a very hard time believing from everything we saw and from what we know.
