power forwards have always been tough to assess when it comes to being able to make the jump to the NHL.
The good news is that his eventual jump to the AHL last season had a great start, where he racked up 18 points in 25 games in a men's/pro league, where his size wasn't as much an advantage compared to his time in junior. His success in the prospect camp is a good start, but the main camp will be interesting to see how well he is able to translate his game when the game is at NHL speed, against NHL size defenders.
He's jumped into my top 4 interesting picks to watch for camp (baertchi, gaudreau, ferland, granlund). I have already concluded on my prediction that bennet goes back to junior
