Personally, I've never had my car stolen, and I'm thankful for that. I live in a smaller town with low major crime. I did however have my car stereo stolen out of my car when it was in my driveway. Quiet neighbourhood, only crime that ever takes place is jaywalking. Woke up October 11, 2001 (note the odd date, hence me not forgetting) and the window was smashed and stereo gone.
