very promising performance from United today ... QPR might have been poor, but nevertheless - United haven't been that fluent and creative in attack for ages and all the new boys settled in well. Everybody will talk about di Maria (who was outstanding) and Herrera (who was fantastic as well), but I was especially impressed with Daley Blind. Not a flashy player, but gets the job done and was very effective in the defensive midfield role in a 4-4-2 diamond today (yes, you read that right Samuelsson - no wing-backs
). If he can play like this on a regular basis and against stronger opposition, Carrick and especially Fletcher will be on the bench A LOT. Which wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
