This is a conversation I had with someone yesterday. Where do you draw the line on the use of objects when spanking? Wooden spoons are ok, but switches aren't?? Or all objects are ok as long as they don't pierce or bruise the skin? You can't develop a legal standard for which objects are ok and which arent- so they are either all wrong, or all acceptable.
Even then, I would argue that even the hand is just as capable of damaging and marking the skin.
