Some of these have already been mentioned but...

- Trading a lot can really improve your team.
- Being really patient with young players can also improve your team.
- But don't be in the middle. Either trade a ton, or build your team and be patient while it developes.

- Be on MSN as much as possible.
- Respond to trade offers! On MSN or in emails... respond quickly, even if the answer is no. Sometimes the other GM will have a plan B. The quicker you tell them you aren't interested the quicker they can contact the next GM.
- Don't exaggerate the value of a player. Every GM in this league is pretty smart and knows how good each player is. Don't try to convince another GM that your junk is valuable because it won't help get the trade done.
- Don't ask a GM if you could trade for a player and then point out reasons why that player isn't as valuable as we all know he is.

- Look at what other GM's are doing with their lines. The sim is hard to figure out... your best bet is to copy what the best teams are doing.
