I've bounced before, couple of years on and off in Edmonton in the late 90's.some big clubs, Thunder Done, Cowboys and some strip clubs. When an altercation with a bouncer ensues nobody likes good, period. But the way I see it is if the "victim" doesn't act like an ass and come back at the bouncer nothing happens. I never started a fight but I was sure as hell going to stop it, quickly. Sometimes the beating one guy took was a message to the rest of dip####s that this crap is not tolerated.
I'm not giving the bouncers a free pass, don't know enough of the case but I trust the cops judgement s well. In general, if you want trouble from a bouncer you're probably not going to like the results. Swallow your pride and walk away.
