Sure they addressed something. They added depth RH D men. Depth additions or not, there's more going to camp now than there has pretty much ever been in a flames camp prior.
Regardless of talent level. It's at the very least going to make camp interesting. Who knows, even if one of the plugs makes the team with some decent play it adds another dimension to the roster. Before Wideman there was who? Sarich, Aucoin, Babchuk, Warrener And that's only this recent era. RH D men have never really been on the flames in any big numbers like 5 at once. usually one or two. They're no Doughty's or Stralmans(Stralman doesn't count, he never really played for the Flames) but they're RH D men. even defensively that's important.
