Great work by all, and a fun poll, but I hope this vote is going to have as much impact on the decision to select the new CP logo as fan voting has on the Hobey Baker. A new logo is going to be very important for CP moving forward, especially if Bingo has aspirations of bigger things with the site. The logo will identify his brand and should be representative of the product. While the shields are great, and would look awesome on a hockey puck or team jersey, but they come up short in defining what CP is about. They also really lose their impact when scaled down to the size where they will most likely be used, with a lot of the content becoming unreadable or disappearing all together. If the goal is to come up with something that will work as a brand, is reflective of the service, and moves away from reliance on the Flames brand, then the candidates are limited and the selections more obvious. Bingo and company have some excellent options to choose from and I think they will make the right one to achieve the long term goals of the site and their business model.
