Lots of other intangibles he brings too. Faceoffs and puck possession are also huge components of the game, particularly in playoffs in tight games so yeah, he is pretty good at that too.
It's the term that I have an issue with not the dollar value.

Krejci has been in the league 8 years now. Yes he had 50 assists last year which is awesome these days- not sure how many of them were 1st assists but either way. He seems to be a 20 goal guy, if lucky, and a 40-50 asst guy going foward.
My point was, and I already said he had other qualities by the way, was that times have changed a lot and seeing someone put up 69 points getting over 7 mill a year for 6 years regardless of intangibles is arguably wild. I understand his importance on the team- but everyone has a role. The guy is making near Crosby money long term and it doesnt make sense. Brad McCrimmon, a defenceman used to put up his numbers.
