We have a backwater valve but it only protects from the mainline. What I suspect is happening is our line is getting plugged via roots, and our waste is causing the back-up into the floor drains.

My fear is the scope could open up a whole can of worms (sewer line replacement) and cost a whole lot of money.

Haven't had a camera run down the sewer line.

House is 1950s.
