Instructor was obviously one of those gun nuts who thought allowing a nine year old to handle an uzi was a good idea cause 'proper supervision'. Yeah, how'd that work out for him?
And those are always the types (read ALWAYS) that think giving kids weapons training proves their sideways political ideals are correct. Otherwise, really, why would you do it other than to prove that idea to yourself and your society. Nine might be to young for any gun, it's definitely too young for that firepower.
So yeah, zero sympathy for the instuctor. He created the situation. Do feel bad for the girl, though maybe she can turn it into a positive in the future by speaking out about the horrible judgement her parents and instructor and so many Americans have about firearms that she had to deal with first hand.
