Has any Flame had a better debut game than Freddie did?

Brought in when the team literally had exhausted 5 other organizational goalies, only supposed to be here for a game or two, dropped in against the Stars who were the one of the elite teams and proceeds to take a team of young never-weres and has-Beens and shuts out the Stars. With a minute left Dallas calls a timeout, Flames were under seige. Freddy was so casual he was in the crease, leaning back faint the cross bar as if it were a pick up game.

Should have made the all star team that year. Mike Richter got picked for the North American team, but Freddy had arguably better stats at that point in the season, on a worse team.
