However, I don't agree with that right. I don't agree that everyone should have access to everything. I don't agree with a lot of their selling policies, their background policies, their concealed carry policies, their stand your ground laws. I'm not against people owning guns, I think the laws we have in Canada work pretty well. I'd make a few minor tweaks but I like what we have. The laws in the States obviously aren't working. So no, I don't agree with them practically or morally as they stand there.
And as far as the NRA goes, do you really think they are defending freedoms? Or are they defending the insane profits of the gun companies? I know where I would put my bet. Much like the corrupt Islamist, is he really endorsing his view of the world, or just doing what he can to gain and stay in power?
And if you think that's a weird and off base comparison (which I admit it is) perhaps you shouldn't have made such an off base one here? First amendment and how it's been perverted has nothing to do with the conversation. And if it does, could you please clarify?
