Reading this story, I get the impression that Sarich probably thinks his hockey career is over, even if he's going to do what he can to work his way back into shape.
If nothing else, it would be kind of cool if he did get back into healthy shape and the Flames signed him at the end of the season for a game or two - likely as a swansong.
