Default 2014 NFL Standings Predictions

Well give it a go to see if you can predict what happens this year. I haven't followed the NFL too rigorously this off season so mine will likely be more accurate than ever...

NFC LEast
Philly 11-5 Effective Offence and an improving defence
Washington 9-7 I think RG3 rebounds to have a decent year
Dallas 8-8 Some great offensive pieces, the defence...ha ha
New York 4-12 Going to be a painful year for Eli

NFC South

New Orleans 11-5 Saints offence is still a powerhouse
Carolina 9-7 The defence is a legitimate unit
Atlanta 9-7, If Julio Jones is healthy this offence can be potent
Tampa Bay 7-9, A potential dark horse if Lovie Smith can fix the culture

NFC North

Green Bay 11-5 Healthy Aaron Rogers and this guys contend
Minnesota 8-8 A.P. is still a beast and if Matt Cassel can just suck a bit less
Chicago 7-9 Becoming Dallas-esque...great offence...but you need D
Detroit 5-11 Some talent but Caldwell is too wishy washy to hone it

NFC West

Seattle 11-5 The Seahawks still have another year to be a top team
San Francisco 10-6 Still a tough team but injuries are testing their depth
St.Louis 8-8 The Rams could have a mean defence but Sean Hill...
Arizona 7-9 Another tough defence, Carson Palmer won't be the same

AFC East

New England 10-6 Boring...but they win the East again
Miami 9-7 One of these years Fins fans
New York Jets 8-8 Just enough for another year of Rex
Buffalo 3-13, Oh those Bills

AFC South

Indianapolis 10-6 They have Andrew Luck to mask their warts
Tennessee 9-7 Ken Whisenhut will make them better
Houston 6-10 Issues on offence now, but D could be solid
Jacksonville 5-11 At least Bortles will be better than Gabbert

AFC North

Cincinatti 10-6 Solid defence so Daulton can still manage games
Pittsburgh 9-7 Are there enough pieces back on D for them to come back?
Baltimore 9-7 Joe Flacco can at least afford a nice suit
Cleveland 5-11 We will see Johnny Football....and a new coach next year

AFC West

Denver 11-5 Harder schedule with the NFC West this year
San Diego 9-7 Philip Rivers and a decent defence
Oakland 5-11 They will be much better
Kansas City 1-15...Exposed for the fraud they were last year in the second half, a bad defence that can do nothing against the pass and a poor offensive line.
