Wouldn't close the door on Gordon. I don't expect it to happen, but never know.
If he buys his own insurance/something gets something worked out with the Browns, and the CFL lets the Ricky Williams rule slide, never know.
He also may have issues with his DUI and getting into Canada.
On another topic, this was discussed two years ago and then I forgot to PVR it then....ESPN Classic Canada has one of the best regular season games in Stamps history.
The infamous Labour Day rematch from 2001, on at 4pm this Saturday. Where the Stamps took a 5 point lead late, the Esks had the officials help them walk down the field with some dubious penalties, and get a TD with under a minute to go. Up by 1, Esks go for two, William Fields intercepts the 2 point convert and goes 110 yards and the Stamps get the 2 points and win by 1. Recall this was the year where the Stamps backed into the playoffs at 8-10 but then won the Grey Cup. They don't win that September game in Edmonton, they don't get to the playoffs or win the GC.
Secondary epic regular season game game that likely won't ever see again, was Dunigan's last game as coach and GM....last play of the game, where Dunigan told the refs he was doing an onside punt/kick...and the Stamps execute it for the TD on the last play of the game to perfection..clueless refs throw a flag and negate the play and Dunigan lost it.
But that Labour Day rematch game was classic, especially with all the assistance the Esks were getting to get the late TD.
