I realize some peoples jobs require them to carry a cell phone. All I am saying is that 99% of peoples jobs existed before the invention of the cell phone. Therefore, the work got done before, just like it is now, just in a different manner. If my job required me to carry a cell phone and my employer paid for it, then I'd carry one for work. People don't need a home phone and a cell phone just so they are "available".
