I'd estimate 1 in 5 barks loudly at me, 1 in 50 barks and runs right up to me to try and intimidate and 1 in 200 tries to bite or physically attack. I try to clear my throat and give people an indication from a long ways away that I'm approaching so I don't surprise the dog but they don't do the smart thing and restrain the dog. It really sucks not being able to go on walking paths because I'm certain I'll be bitten (already have been once but it was a small dog). I've had around 100 close encounters where the dogs were running up onto my heels barking viciously, terrible pet owners. Really grinds my gears not being able to go to a park because I am certain I'll be seriously injured, used to love dogs but after the previous 2 years my opinion has completely changed. I've seen one person that was smart and had a ball she threw into the bush when she saw me coming so the dog would run away.

You should ask the dogs if they've been to the Stampede yet.
