That "5" you see there? That links to NHL.com, and they write:
"San Jose's top line of Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Devin Setoguchi has a lot to do with the team's success this season, but that unit hasn't produced much since the All-Star break. The trio has combined for just two assists in their last three games."

Is NHL.com credible enough for you?

Edit: And since when does "ice time and shifts per game" rebut "he played on the first line" anyway?
