Well some people use their cell phones AS their home phone. I understand what you are saying, but why if the world has started to change and work is being integrated more and more through new technology why would you hold your ground in that conservative light? To prove a point?

There needs to be a middle ground somewhere. Spending anywhere over like $300 on a phone is absolutely ridiculous because first of all- most phone plans come with a free phone and second of all- nobody gives a crap how nice your phone is. Seriously. Nobody cares. Nobody looks at anyone else, notices their phone and goes "oh wow... that guy/girl must be great because they have a $700+ phone". The idea that you need a nice looking gadget is pretty 'high school' to put it bluntly. This is not to mention that any phone will usually work quite fine. Do you ever buy phones that don't work properly these days in terms of hearing the other side or the other side hearing you?

No. So the only reason you'd get a nice phone is because it looks cool, or because it has a cool ringtone or because you can show it off for some reason- when bottom line- again, I stress this, nobody cares.

And Misskat, I can't believe you just compared some sort of odd shopping addiction to the medication of brain cancer. I'll let you just re-read that boldened sentence again for a moment to think about how ridiculous that is.

Stop buying ****.

^^ I should add-

Or don't stop buying stuff, I don't really care to be honest I'm just proposing my solution and opinion.
