Is Setoguchi going to block shots and play as hard as Bouma? Not likely. Just seems like not a great message to send. Hey you'll never have a chance to earn it because we always sign retreads that have at some point in their career "proven it".

Not sure how this signing affects Bouma? Flames have plenty of cap space to fit Bouma in. You don't give a player an extra $750,000 a year, over what he is looking for, if you don't think his play is worth it.
