The films on most people's lists here are going to be a pleasure for you to watch. Some qualify as watch immediately. Lawrence of Arabia, watch on a big screen. It's actually been worked out that this movie couldn't be filmed today, as the budgetary restrictions would be too high, and it couldn't be made CGI. Really too many great films to comment on here.
I wish there was a way to steer some of the other lists toward what they should be watching, but it's really too ungainly. Someone somewhere indicated Color of Money as a favorite, but gave no indication of ever watching the Hustler. Every time I see Harry Potter on a list, an angel loses it's wings.
Hoodwinked by Buff. I clicked on the link that you used as a shortcut, and it turns out that was just some dude's list. Well played. I will by that Floridian Swamp land from you, after all. No time to check the actual IMDB list at the moment. The five that I have arn't bad though.

May I suggest you start with The Apartment? Billy Wilder film starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley Maclaine. Quite a risqué story at the time all things considered, and an absolutely wonderful movie.
