Bourgois though made quite the impression in the Battle of Alberta. He auditioned to be the #2 goon on the team and was successful (after a run of many other choices who got worked by Semenko, Jackson, McLelland et al). He won a couple against Semenko and gave Hunter some much needed support. Now Hunter wasn't alone in having to respond every time Baxter and Peplinski lost a scrap.
Was also quite the character off ice.

that's what I remember about Bourgeois, too. I think the Flames should always carry at least one Maritimer on the main roster to keep things loose.
