I'm willing to be that a lot of anger on Moore's part at the start of this has faded. Frankly the kid is pretty much wrecked for life, but dealing with this has to be exhausting.
I'm sure on Bertuzzi's side they took a sobering look at how damaging this case could be and decided not to take a chance on getting this in front of a judge.
The NHL will be glad if this goes away and the Canucks will probably have to pay into this.

I would bet it's nowhere near that. We will probably never find out because it's all confidential, but I would guess it's about 10% of that. We will also not know what the Canucks contributed to the settlement.
