Good heavens, everybody knows I'm absolutely a fanboy for gaming! Vita, 3DS, Xbone, PS4. You name, I buy it and game on it. Except the Ouya. I'm lucky enough that I can pile in money into it without much thought. Heck, I've even been lucky enough to visit a bunch of video game developers and meet many of the people behind the games and their music.

I'd suggest that it is clear that Microsoft stumbled with the Xbone launch and messaging (though improving a bit since Mattrick left) while Sony has done pretty decent by mostly keeping their head down. Of course, I do like what Sony has done so far with the PS4 versus the Xbone with Microsoft blowing off their own toes every other month. Their PR has been clearer, they haven't really shot themselves in the foot and I'm guessing it'll be my default multiplatform console for this generation just based on the sheer performance difference. Just like the 360 was over the PS3.

I'd also suggest that a LOT of people in North America and the rest of world feel the same given how the sales of the new consoles are going. A lot of internet and gaming forums lean that way as well. Heck, look at the poll in this very thread. It's always been a god damn landslide just like the sales numbers right now. And that is just because there are literally more people around the world buying into Sony's console/vision versus Microsoft right now and it only seems to be accelerating.

I understand it can be hip to go against the tide and I do think Microsoft is doing better but they can't seem to get the messaging of their console straight (at least to me). And "going against the tide" doesn't make the points invalid and not worth considering. I just might not agree with it. I guess you could call the 2/3's of the new generation console owners "fanboys" (I'm leaving out the poor Wii U owners). At some point I guess you can start calling them "sheep" or other names as well. Personally, I don't mind you calling me names but I hope my points are reasonably sane even if they are common with the greater tide of other gamers here and around the world.

I don't mind hearing and considering your viewpoints too but I'll try to refrain from calling you names even if I don't agree with you.
