To be fair though, the person asking isn't a mind reader. Sometimes people "conveniently" forget to see an email, and stuff gets left undone. It's better to get a confirmation email if you're unsure. Really, how hard is it to hit reply and say yes, you're doing it? Takes like 2 seconds.
