But this is a prospects vote and I see little to no upside in him. He's not even a prospect IMO because I very much doubt he ever suits up for the Flames or their AHL affiliate again.

All of the remaining players are huge longshots. Of them, I see a small glimmer of hope for Harrison. I disagree that he regressed in camp - seemed pretty good again.
I don't get the "I don't think he is a prospect so I won't vote for him" that a lot of people throw around. We all have our own definition. But Bingo built the poll so Bingo sets the definition. Billins is on the list.

As for Billins, he is going to the KHL for one year. As I understand it he expects to come back. The Flames qualified him to retain his rights so clearly there is at least some interest in him. Our best roster player followed a similar path.

He is still a long shot to be anything more than a 7D in the NHL. But most of the guys on the list have a ways to go to even be that, and Billin's has a high a ceiling as anyone on the list IMO. He is also closer to making an impact than anyone else on the list.

Good pick for round 32. But so are other guys. Tough to pick wrong at this stage!
