You might be right. On one hand you have the infamous COD steam group of people "boycotting" for the lack of dedicated servers. And then on launch day, look at what they are playing:
But then, you look at the massive difference in sales between the PS4 and Xbone that is only accelerating. They`re the same price now or the Xbone is ever cheaper but the difference is only increasing. Was it the PR and news that everybody heard about and the rubbed people the wrong way. People claimed that none of it mattered and that people would just flock to the Xbone and their old 360 friends list - but that hasn`t come to pass at all.
Is that a function of an informed customer base, maybe not. You might be right at the end of the day.
