Correct, around 150 million of the nearly 900 million people. However Christians roughly make up 40% of the population( various sects) and the long standing propaganda against contraception, especially against condoms has affected beliefs of all Africans, regardless of faith since its so pervasive, this IS the Vatican's fault, but also the inherent distrust of "white medicine."
