I like it, I think he will do a good job. I highly doubt he will ever be called Aquaman in the movie and will not resemble the comic book character at all. The only similarities will be the abilities and the rage, looking forward to his portrayal of Arthur Curry.

Interesting.. it seems like they have been preparing for this for a while now.
Edit: It seems that all of these websites are quoting the June 16th article.. so not sure if this is still official or not.. for now lets assume it is a leaked 'unofficial' announcement.
