I think he breaks through, he was the big star prospect for a year and it put the wrong kind of pressure on him. Then Burke sends him down to send a message to everyone in the organization that you have to be a complete player and not just a skill guy.
Now the only pressure he has is from himself, he won't be demoted from Adirondack and he's got to beat out someone else for a spot. That should get him going, he could have played for us last year but the message was sent loud and clear; hard work and contribution every single shift. Baertschi's demotion probably made every other prospect work way harder because they know how it works now. Wouldn't make sense to trade him if his trade value is at rock bottom, keep him and hope his natural talent turns into an NHL player. We've got the time
