Getting down after something doesn't go his way, not having the intensity. It could be a mental thing from playing an entire career where everything does go your way. Might be tough for some that you score three points per game in every single game you play since you were 6 and then all of a sudden you are not the best on the ice anymore. Combine that with some injury issues, he might be little apprehensive going into the corners.
They have mentioned it was not character issues or any of that, great character guy and teammate. Maybe mental toughness, maturity and confidence.

I agree with that, those are my concerns to. He also needs to bulk up a little.
