The Leafs were okay...
#5 CPHL- Derick Brassard. Kind of obvious where he was going to go anyway, but he went 6th to the Blue Jackets. Pretty happy about that because at least Columbus has a history of bringing their top picks to the NHL quickly.
#20 CPHL- Dennis Persson. He went 24th overall to the Sabres. About right and we're very happy to have this player.
#24 CPHL- Ondrej Fiala. This guy fell a bit, he was selected 40th overall by the Wild. But luckily the Wild seem to be one of the better teams at the draft. They probably like this guys speed, as did I.
#68 CPHL- Brady Calla. He went 73rd overall to the Panthers. Not bad, I think this guy can be a good role player for them within 2-3 years.
#102 CPHL- Jonus Enlund. Taken 165th overall by the Thrashers. This guy fell a bit, oh well.
#131 CPHL- Kevin Quick. Taken 78th overall by the Lightning, so this was apparently a good pick for us.
#159 CPHL- Joe Devin. Doesn't look like he got picked. Maybe he didn't even enter this years draft, he's young I think.
