The problem is that the OP is pretty fiercely agenda driven. For the better part of a few years now he's concocted a narrative about the success of size and strength in the NHL over and against skill and "finesse" (for lack of a better word). This is no different: it is a poorly cobbled analysis that flows from pre-formed conclusions about certain players beforehand:

On the Flip side Granlund and Reinhart and Billins came up and played their skilled positional game (virtually no hits) and the Flames did poorly (even by the Flames standards)...
