the environmental debates always tend to be frustrating because people don't always have all the information or base it on a single sides argument. There is no doubt that a healthy debate is necessary but I think it would be more beneficial if people knew about their backyard before casting stones at Alberta. Being in the 21st century and not having a sewage treatment plant for Victoria makes me shake my head when people from that city complain about potential dumps or spills into the ocean.
