I don't think you should be looking at your friends for any lessons on how to divert from this ridiculous spending.

Upon reading about how you rebought the phone you just sold..especially considering how much this phone is..that is just incomprehensible!!

It seems like you can just throw this money (well over $500) with little to no care! Anything that enters the 3 digit range for me requires a lot of debate, and usually follows with a lot of buyer's remorse. I just can't imagine how you would not regret buying a 1200 phone. IMO it (the phone) doesn't impress anyone unless you hand it over for them to inspect.
