Of all the great things about that game (not in the video in this thread, but it is in the full length version) was the sequence with Lowry intentionally flipping the puck over the glass simply to get the whistle...that meant Berube could get out of the box, having served his coincidental major...then Berube looking at Gilbert who gives him the nod.
Really no standout. Chouinard and Stillman seemed to be similar, above average NHL'ers, feeding Lanny, then a younger Iginla in Stillman's case.
So, went with Shean Donovan...him going down in Game 5 vs Tampa was a big blow, was pretty clutch that whole playoffs, and like I said with Simon yesterday, all those peices firing together, were inches away from the improbable Stanley Cup. The Flames didn't have the balanced 3rd line with him in the pressbox and that got others out of their element. For a team that needed everything to work out, him not there messed that up.
