The issue with that is that he may feel he's ready before the Flames do then it screws everything up and you lose him for nothing. Sven is a small skilled player, you can have too many of them on the team though. If he develops into a good NHL player but still isn't our best option then you have to trade him, if he becomes a great NHL player then you move someone else to make room for him. Until he does though, he shouldn't be on the team and if it came to keeping him and potentially losing him to waivers or trading him and getting something for him, then you have to trade him.
