I don't think not signing is even in the cards until he actually puts up some noteworthy numbers in the NCAA. If he has another blah season statistically it doesn't matter how well the rest of his game looks on paper, he won't have the leverage or outside interest worthy of holding out. How does the compensation for college 1st Rd pick work I wonder? Do we have to actually offer him a contract to trigger the compensation or do we automatically get it if he remains unsigned after Aug 15 2016?
