Who Will Be Our Next Captain?
The off-season has been dragging on and thought we could discuss and speculate who the next captain of our beloved flames will be once Gio is gone.
My predictions/guess'es
1. Monahan - had a great rookie season and throughout his career showed he possess's great leadership qualities, leads by example. Will be a great two-way forward for young players to look up to one day. Great mentor, great pro
2. Backlund - seems to be getting better and better every year, has a great defensive game, as well as he's been in calgary for quite some time now. Also more experience at this point than Mony.
