As a side note, When Fan960 was discussing this yesterday, Kerr mentioned that a large reason why Calgary hosted the Heritage Classic in 2011 was that Harley Hotchkiss really wanted an outdoor game for Calgary, and that the league gave it to him partially out of a debt of gratitude. The Flames were apparently after it since 2009.

If anyone deserved to get something they wanted like that, it was Harley, and the fact that they league recognized that is encouraging.
