And I agree to a certain extent.
Yeah, the woman screwed up, and I can't stand her, and I am super-happy she was ousted. But now people are frothing at the mouth and out for blood. I believe people want her to do hard time, in a maximum security mens prison, in the violent offenders wing, for gaming a some extra seats on a plane. When you look at the whole cost of it, and the net impact of Joe Albertan.... it is pennies. We get it, she was terrible at her job, and terrible at managing the finances of this province. And self absorbed. But she's finished.... just leave it at that, everyone got what they wanted... but that's not enough it seems.
If we are going to send people to prison for mismanaging public infrastructure, we could look in our own backyard at the municipal level, and find just as many misgivings if you dug deep enough I am sure. The only difference between Redford, and probably 90% of public officials.... is she got caught.
