I do agree that defensively there needs to be better tools. The kneel should block a pass that isn't a saucer and if your squared up in between the passer and receiver and the pass goes right by you I feel the defender should get a stick on it at least 50% of the time(depending on your hand eye skill) I don't mean intercept it but I mean tip it to the corner or similar.
