Do you have a rationale? You mentioned he kills penalties??
Both Yelle and Patterson we're amongst the best penalty killers of their respective eras...Patterson was recognized as one of the top Def Forwards in the NHL, and yet was still under-rated, IMO.

Yes I'm oldish so I've seen all three play a lot. 86 was my first season watching.
Backlund is a superior player offensively, by a pretty good margin. I also think he is an exceptional defensive player although not as good as yeller. If he was on either of those other two teams he'd be a major contributor.
Not saying others shouldn't vote for Yelle or Patterson, just rationalizing my choice and giving backs some love.
