Even to this day, I have periods where getting in/out of my car is painful if I can't open the door all the way. Street parking is nice. Lot parking isn't, unless I park well away from everyone.
I just find it odd that of all the stalls someone could park in (assuming again there is NO ONE even close, say 10-15 spots away) that another driver would opt to park next to someone else.
Heck, if I had kids, I likely would park further away just to ensure they DON'T ding someone else's door.
Yes, when the lots get busy, I have no problem with someone parking next. That, however, isn't the point. Some here have already say they do it intentionally. I am putting forward a non-"car guy" reason for not doing it.
