So, by them parking inside the lines, they are actually wanting three spots. If they parked like a dbag, and took up two spots, people could park on the adjacent spots. The mutual understanding means they are worse than the jerks who purposely take up multiple spots.
I drive an X5 and I usually park in the first spot I see. I understand it's a public parking lot, and people are bound to park beside me. As long as they stay inside the lines, I'm more than happy to have them beside me. If I didn't want people to park beside me, I'd keep my car at home. Actually that won't work, as I don't own the spot beside me. The guy beside me used to have a Corolla, and now has a Porsche 911. I wonder if the rules changed on my parking, because he upgraded his car.
