In the case of the Israeli military force required to deal with the threat of Hamas, it has to be controlled and measured as an appropriate response to the threat they face. I don't see any way that racking up the deathtoll of Palestinian civilians helps Israel in any way. The Palestinian people need help...and who right now is helping them? Stephen Harper? Barack Obama? They are naturally going to turn to the only group that seems to recognize their plight and offers some form of resistance. The more they get bombarded the more anti-Israel sentiment will grow. Violence perpetuates violence.
Amazing, I said that those who support Hamas are perpetuating the violence. You had a problem with that comment? I am incapable? I am simply responding to exactly what you posted.

Oh I see again, the old 'appropriate response' attack against Israel. Why don't you go have a look next door at Syria for appropriate response, how many died there? Israel is stopping an enemy from attacking it. Who is helping Palestinians? The IDF is. As unfortunate as that is. If Israel is successful and Hamas is gone, these people can prove to the world they can live in Peace.

Have a look not too far away at the contrast in the West Bank.
